The Bell at Skenfrith - Restaurant with Rooms

Overlooking the River Monnow, the Bell is on the outskirts of the tiny welsh village of Skenfrith. It is the ideal place for intimate weddings or special celebrations, quiet and romantic breaks, an array of country pursuits and wonderful long walks. The Bell has free wifi but don't expect your mobile to always work.
The Bell has six individual circular walks of its own which guide the walker in and around the Skenfrith area. The Skenfrith sleuth is an extremely popular children's walk that enables them to search for clues about the history of Skenfrith Castle just acros the road (one of the famous marches castles and an important norman stronghold during the 13th century cross-border skirmishes) the church and village - an ideal activity for the family at half term or during the school holidays.
Whatever your reason for visiting, the Bell will always welcome you and help to make your visit a memorable one.
The bedrooms are named after brown trout fishing flies, the bell has eleven rooms individually decorated with luxury and comfort foremost in mind, including rooms with romantic fourposters. All our beds are bespoke with the finest linen, down duvets, traditional pure wool welsh blankets and an ensuite bathroom with complimentary bell toiletries which we encourage you to take home. Freshly ground coffee, fresh milk and traditional or herbal teas and crunchy homemade shortbread biscuits are also there for your enjoyment.
